Sell your games here!

Whether you’re trying to find a great deal, looking to clean off your shelves a bit, or if you’re trying to find that super-rare printing of a 1970s RPG, we’re here to help!

Since our inception in 2013, we’ve been buying and selling second-hand games. It’s our passion and one of our favorite parts of the business, and we’ve taken that calling and turned it into the largest selection of used and vintage games in Washington State.

How do we get new games? We buy them from you!

The process is simple. Sort through you games and find the ones that you don’t want anymore. Have a quick look through them, just to make sure that they look complete and that you haven’t left something in the box that doesn’t belong. You’d be surprised what we’ve found tucked in a game box over the years!

Follow this link to our game submission page. Here we’ll ask you for some contact information, and then a little about each game. Once you’ve submitted all of your games, the internet will automatically send your list to us for review. We’ll look over the list and reply by email with a list of which games we’re interested in, and an offer for them. You can bring those in as it fits into your schedule, and assuming that we judge the games to be in the same condition that you self-reported them to be, you’ll get our offered price right then and there. It’s that easy!

What do we pay? As much as we can! Some places are happy to offer a dollar or two per game and call that generous. We call that a bad deal!

We care about board games and collecting them too much to do that to you. For each item, we’ll figure out an “Estimated Market Price.” This price takes into account many different factors, so it’s hard to describe here, but it is definitely more art than science. It has to encompass things like the popularity of the game, its condition, its age, its collectability, if it’s been reprinted, etc. Once we figure that out, we offer you half that in cash or check, or 2/3 of that amount in store credit. If you choose store credit, we create a gift certificate for you that you can use on anything in the store: games, food, or even drinks!

What are we looking for? Anything really!

Though that’s not completely true, it is probably easier to talk about what we’re not looking for, rather than what we specifically want.

Here is a list of things we are not buying at the moment:

  • Incomplete board games (we will still take incomplete RPGs)
  • Party Games (especially older ones)
  • Children’s Games
  • Jigsaw Puzzles
  • Electronic Games, Computer Games, or guide books for them

Used Games FAQ

Do you buy huge collections? Or super rare, super expensive items? We certainly do! We’ve handled large lots, and had the pleasure of buying the collections of several local game professionals. We’ve bought many extremely collectible games, and have even bought multiple incomplete copies so that we can make playable copies of rare games.

You’ve made me an offer, but now I’d like to keep a few of the games. Can we do that? As a rule, we don’t do this. An offer is for the whole lot, and if you want to decline the offer, that’s fine, but we’re not prepared to haggle over each item on the sell list. In practice, though, this happens all the time, and we’re happy to take a game off the list every once in a while. Don’t make a habit of it though. 🙂

Do you have a list of the used games in stock right now? Unfortunately, we don’t. Tracking the inventory like that would be a huge hassle for us, and we just don’t have the resources for doing it at the moment. But we do have a two things you can do:

  • 1.) Please feel free to give us the names of any games you’re looking for, and we’ll do our best to notify you when they come in. Our process for this still isn’t the best, but we’re working on improving it going forward.
  • 2.) When we put out new-to-us used games, we post pictures of them to our Used Game Hunters Facebook Group and the members of that group are given first chance call dibs on those games. It’s not a high traffic group, so it won’t take up much of your doomscrolling.

Can I just bring my games in like I used to? Can I just email you list of the games? If you’d like to make an appointment with our game buyer and do it in person, we can certainly do that! But we’ve completely run out of space for you to leave your games overnight, so if we can’t buy them on the spot we won’t be able to take them at that time.

That said, this is a new system going into effect in January of 2025, so it’s going to take a little time for all of us to get used to it, so we’ll be as generous as we can in regards to taking your games.

If you already have a spreadsheet or text document with your list of games, we’re happy to take that instead of filling out the webform. Just make sure if you’re doing it that way, that you’re giving us all of the same information: the name of the game, the condition, any extras or missing pieces, and if it comes from a smoking or pet co-living environment.

Used Games Submission Form FAQ

What do the different conditions mean? The top 6 conditions refer to board games and card games. The bottom 2 are meant for roleplaying game books or miniatures rule books.

  • Games: New: this means the game is literally new and you’d be happy to buy it from a store. It’s still in the outer packaging, whether that’s shrinkwrap or stickers sealing the box lid or whatever.
  • Games: Unplayed: in this case, the outer seals have been broken, but the inner seals are intact. Cards are still in their inner packaging. Counters or miniatures are still attached to their frames. There may be some light scuffing to the box or outer packaging.
  • Games: Played & Organized: the outer and inner seals are broken, but the game has obviously been well taken care of. The pieces are all in bags or other storage solutions. The cards are bagged or in trays. There may be light wear to the box or to the components.
  • Games: Played: this game is in average condition. It’s been played and shows some wear, but there are no missing pieces or no cards worn enough to be “marked.” Counters and cards are loose in the box.
  • Games: Missing Pieces: please list in the notes section what it may be missing. Generally we don’t buy these, but if the missing component isn’t necessary for play (like promos for other games) or if the game is particularly collectible we may still buy it.
  • Books: Good: this is the average condition for books, RPGs, or miniatures rules. The covers show a little wear, but there are no large scratches, tears, or written on pages. Old price tags are ok.
  • Books: Worn: any books that don’t qualify as Good, but still have intact bindings and are not missing any pages. We do not buy books with broken bindings or missing pages.

When/how will I hear back? We try to reply to all submissions within 48 hours. Sometimes we get busy and miss that goal, but feel free to call or email of you don’t hear back from us after three or four days.

Our system is automated to reply by email only.

After I accept an offer, how quickly do I need to bring in my games? An offer is good for 2 weeks after it’s made. If you go a day or two over it’s no big deal. If you do forget about it until a month later, give us a call or an email, and we’ll reactivate it.

Can I mail you my games? At the moment we’re really only set up to take games that are dropped off locally at our store in Lynnwood, WA. But we’d like to eventually start buying nationwide, so feel free to reach out if you’d like to give it a try.

How do I contact you? Where do I drop them off? You can reach us by telephone at 425-582-2745 or email at mail@attgamepub.com. Our store address is 7600 196th St. SW Suite 300, Lynnwood, WA 98036
