What’s Happening?

Today: Riichi Mahjong 2-10pm; Netrunner League Play begins tonight from 5-10pm. No D&D Encounters tonight, in preparation for the Tyranny of Dragons campaign starting next week!

Thursday: Chess (featuring a free rootbeer to the best player) @ 2pm; X-Wing Miniatures League [Week 2 – 75 pts] @ 6pm.

Events.

We’ve got a lot of them planned. So instead of making a Facebook event for each of them and spamming the feed here, we’ll just list them all here:

D&D Encounters: Every Wednesday at 6pm. The new season kicks off next week (8/20) featuring a grand quest to stop the dragon cultists and their evil plans to summons their dark queen, Tiamat, in Tyranny of Dragons.

Worker Placement Tuesdays: Play and learn worker placement-style games, every week at 6:30pm.

Co-Op Night: Every Thursday at 6:30pm join us to play cooperative games like Forbidden Island, Pandemic and Hanabi.

King’s Forge Release Party: On August 23rd for 4-8pm come and celebrate the release of King’s Forge, a new game by local designer and Edmonds’ Community College Professor Nick Sibicky. Good food, good times, and all you can eat pizza for $5!

Back to School Puzzle Rally: August 25-31. Come by and time yourself completing our one hundred piece puzzle. You only get one chance to log your time in, and the best time over the course of a week will get a prize!

Star Trek Day: Saturday, Sept. 6th. To celebrate the 48th Anniversary of the television premiere of Star Trek (actually on the 8th, but weekends!) we’re throwing a party. We’ll have Federation Of Beer‘s Vulcan Ale, all you can eat Federation Pizza, space-themed games and a free Terrace tournament (a strategy game featured on ST: TNG) and more!

Our Half-Year Anniversary! We’re not sure what we’re doing yet for Sept. 13th, but it’ll be great! Star Wars: Age of Rebellion events, customer appreciation sales and whatever more we can think up between now and then. We’re looking forward to being able to thank you all properly for all of your support!

Khans of Tarkir Pre-Release Tournaments: The new Magic set is only a month away, and we’ll be running Constructed Tournaments on Sept. 20th at Noon and 7pm, and Sept. 21st at 2pm.

D&D Expeditions: This new program of adventures longer than D&D Encounters, starts on Sept. 27th at 1pm.

Phew! That’s a lot going on. We’ll remind you again as these get closer, and you can always find them on our Calendar at https://attgamepub.com/cal

See you there!

What’s Happening today?

Medieval Games @ 1pm; Pokemon Gym Day @ 2pm; Deckbuilding Games w/ Trent and Beth @ 2:30pm; Story Games feat. The Quiet Year @ 6pm; Iron Kingdoms RPG @ 7pm. [SHADOWRUN CANCELED]

Monday: 1st Edition D&D with Ron @ 6pm; Boardgame Learn n’ Play @ 6-10pm; Lynnwood Magic MeetUp: EDH and more! @ 6:30pm.

Games are a phenomenal way to bring about community. Despite their often competitive nature, it is surprising to see how quickly strangers can bond when they have a set of common rules and a goal in mind. It’s a double win when that same game comes FROM the community.

Edmonds Community College Professor, Composer, and all around Boardgame Geek Nick Sibicky is having his breakout game King’s Forge released this month via Game Salute and we’re excited to announce that Round the Table will be hosting its launch party the evening of the 23rd of August–that’s less than two weeks away! Not only will there be “All You Can’t Eat Pizza” provided by our neighbors at the Little Caesars of Lynnwood, but 15% of all King’s Forge sales we make will be going to a charity of Nick’s choice. Did I mention that you’ll be able to meet Nick in person and get your game autographed? And who knows, maybe he will even let you play the prototype of his next game…

What’s Happening? Magic: The Gathering Game Day…TONIGHT.

Today: Mobile Frame Zero @ 12-4pm; Magic the Gathering 2015 Core Set Game Day @ 6:30pm.

Sunday: Medieval Games @ 1pm; Pokemon Gym Day @ 2pm; Deckbuilding Games w/ Trent and Beth @ 2:30pm; Story Games feat. The Quiet Year @ 6pm; Iron Kingdoms RPG @ 7pm.

Like Magic: The Gathering but hate drafts? Tonight’s Game Day tournament is a Standard-format tournament. Bring your own 60+ card deck with any cards from sets Return to Ravnica or later and a whopping $5. At the very least you’ll get a promo card, and most players will get a number of other prizes like playmats or booster packs! Who knows, maybe you will have fun too.

Also, tomorrow is Pokemon Gym Day, our biweekly gathering time for aspiring Pokemon Trainers in the North Sound. Now, we apologize as our Pokemon inventory has been a bit light lately, but that’s only because we have been waiting for the next expansion to come out before investing heavily. Did I mention it releases next week? That’s right, Pokemon XY Furious Fists will be at Round the Table next week, so this is your last chance to find opponents before brand new pokemon are unleashed on the battlefield! The fun starts at 2pm tomorrow.

See you here.
