What happens when Magic: The Gathering meets
Dungeons & Dragons?
We get Adventures in the Forgotten Realms!
Delve dungeons and kill dragons! Or better yet, get the dragons to attack your opponent!
It’s been a long time since we’ve had you all here in the store, playing Magic, and we’re looking so very forward to doing it again! Masks are optional in the store for those who are vaccinated, but since this is going to be a big event with a lot of people, we are doing a little bit of distancing. All players will be sat 3 feet apart and players will be asked to only touch their own cards. In addition, for our Friday and Sunday events, we’ll be doing multiple pods: one for everyone, and one for unvaccinated, masked players who will only play with each other and card-carrying vaccinated folks.
We’ll have 3 sessions of Sealed Deck play: Friday @ 7pm, Saturday @ Noon, and Sunday @ 2pm. Plus a session of 2HG Saturday @ 7pm!
We’re not doing those hardcore, Midnight events anymore, but rather a Friday night at 7pm event, with room for up to 32 players!
The Saturday @ Noon event will be big too — the most exciting of them. We’ll have seats for 32 players.
The 2HG at 7pm will have room for 16 pairs (and this is how we’ll be selling entries, in two-person teams).
On Sunday, we’re looking for a smaller tournament, with room for up to 24 players
We’ve arranged for extra parking next door, just south of us, in the architect/insurance lot. Please take advantage of this and allow those with limited mobility to have the close spots!
Here’s a look at each of our events and what’s special about each:
Friday 7/16 at 7pm — The Red Eye
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to be done before Midnight.
Saturday 7/17 at Noon — The Main Event
• The event starts promptly at Noon.
• The event will be 5 rounds, so expect to play for about 6 hours.
• Buy an All-You-Can-Eat-Pizza pass to keep your energy up! (from 1pm to 5pm) Only $7.
Saturday 7/17 at 7pm — Two-Headed Giant
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• Registration is for two-person teams, not individuals, so make sure we know who your teammate is.
Sunday 7/18 at 2pm — Sunday Fun
• The event starts promptly at 2pm.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to play for about 5 hours.
Inside each Prerelease box, there will be:
• 6 Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Draft booster packs
• 1 Foil Stamped Premium Card
• 3 foil double-sided Dungeon cards
• 1 d20 life counter
The cost to register for this tournament is $29.99 + tax, so register early and reserve your spot!
All ages and skill-levels are welcome. Prizes will include 1 booster pack per person and more for the top places.
