Visit a city created by angels, but ruled by demons! Welcome to New Capenna!

 

It’s been a long time since we’ve had you all here in the store, playing Magic, and we’re looking so very forward to doing it again!

We’ll have 3 sessions of Sealed Deck play: Friday @ 7pm, Saturday @ Noon, and Sunday @ 2pm. Plus a session of 2HG Saturday @ 7pm!

We’re not doing those hardcore, Midnight events anymore, but rather a Friday night at 7pm event, with room for up to 32 players!
The Saturday @ Noon event will be big too — the most exciting of them. We’ll have seats for 32 players.
The 2HG at 7pm will have room for 16 pairs (and this is how we’ll be selling entries, in two-person teams).
On Sunday, we’re looking for a smaller tournament, with room for up to 24 players

We’ve arranged for extra parking next door, just south of us, in the architect/insurance lot. Please take advantage of this and allow those with limited mobility to have the close spots!

Here’s a look at each of our events and what’s special about each:

Friday 4/22 at 7pm — The Red Eye
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• The event will be 3 rounds, so expect to be done about 11:30pm.

Saturday 4/23 at Noon — The Main Event
• The event starts promptly at Noon.
• The event will be 5 rounds, so expect to play for about 6 hours.
• Buy an All-You-Can-Eat-Pizza pass to keep your energy up! (from 1pm to 5pm) Only $7.

Saturday 4/23 at 7pm — Two-Headed Giant
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• Registration is for two-person teams, not individuals, so make sure we know who your teammate is.

Sunday 4/24 at 2pm — Sunday Fun
• The event starts promptly at 2pm.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to play for about 5 hours.

Inside each Prerelease box, there will be:

• 5 Streets of New Capenna Draft Boosters
• 1 Family Booster
• 1 foil-stamped card from Streets of New Capenna of card rarity rare or higher
• 1 deck box
• 1 Spindown life counter
• Join one of five powerful families and build your criminal empire

The cost to register for this tournament is $29.99 + tax. Families will be chosen on the day of the event, in the order that players signed up, so register early and reserve your spot!

All ages and skill-levels are welcome. Prizes will include 1 draft booster pack per person and more for the top places.

** Due to production and shipping problems, all New Capenna Commander Decks will be delayed! We will not have any available for pre-release, and are still waiting to hear when and how they will arrive after release. We are taking people’s names for interest in the commander decks, but are not taking any preorders or making any guarantees at this point.
